Delete Your Account

You can delete your GabaBrain account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it, what gets deleted, and what is retained.

Delete your account in the app

Open the GabaBrain app and sign in.
Go to your Profile.
Tap Security.
Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, email support@gababrain.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and process the deletion.

What is deleted

Your account identifiers (email address, username, phone number) are released immediately, so they can no longer be used to sign in and can be re-registered.
Your sign-in sessions and push notification registrations are removed immediately.
Your friendships and friend requests are removed immediately.
Your published study materials are hidden from other users immediately.
Any unfinished multiplayer matches are resolved immediately so other players are not left waiting.

What is retained, and for how long

30-day recovery window: your remaining account data is kept for 30 days after deletion so you can restore your account by signing in with your old password. After 30 days, the account is no longer restorable and the data becomes eligible for permanent removal.
Legal requirements: we may retain limited records where required by law, such as purchase and transaction records.
